Nessly Posted February 6, 2021 Share Posted February 6, 2021 (edited) I was hoping to use this tool but unfortunately it's not launching on my end either. Like other users, the game launches as normal, but the floor reader menu/hud doesn't display when pressing insert key ( am using standard US qwerty keyboard). I have disabled Windows defender and Windows Firewall & no other anti-virus / anti-malware programs are running Pluvio's floor reader does work for me, so I'll continue using that. Oh wow, that's what is happening in my case. After seeing your post, I tried some things: tried launching with no controllers connected and it worked right off the bat! tried launching with my PS4 controller connected (via bluetooth adapter) and it didn't work tried launching with my Wii u pro controller connected (via Mayflash wireless PC adapter) and it didn't work tried launching with my Xbox one controller connected (via Microsoft wireless PC adapter) and it didn't work tried launching with my Xbox one controller connected (via usb cable) and it didn't work PSU won't accept the controller's input if the controller is connected after the game is launched, so maybe it wasn't meant to be. Checking back today i saw mention of controllers stopping the program and sure enough this effects me too. I use a PS4 controller with ds4 windows. bluetooth wireless connection. If I start psu via gnomes launcher and no controller connected then the overlay works and so do the hot keys. If I start psu via gnomes launcher with my ps4 controller on the hot keys do not work and the program is all smooshed hard to see towards the top left. I made a little picture showcasing this lol Also wanted to say thanks for working on this and sharing. pretty cool! I was curious tho, I noticed this program only runs in the existing psu game window. is there a way to make this independent running in another window? I play with 3 monitors on my pc and having 1 monitor game and another monitor floor reader shenanigans is pretty nice. Just a thought! However, I was able to see the overlay by changing the compatibility of ClemLauncherGnome.exe to Vista. However, hotkeys cannot be used. Furthermore, the overlay cannot be resized. Thanks. Thanks for your updates and support Gnome! I updated to the latest version 1.13, but now the overlay isn't loading at all (even w/o controller connected). Still made sure I'm running your ClemLauncherGnome.exe as admin. When I reverted back to 1.12, Gnome Glasses works again but only when controller is not connected. From what I found after some quick searching, this may be linked to a debug version of visual studio. I'm willing to compile it in Release again, to see if it helps. I have a few features I want to work in before I release 1.14. Any work around for that? unfortunately, the best workaround is to either temporarily shut off defender for the download (which might result in it being deleted as soon as you reactivate) or make a scanning exception in your download folder (dangerous if you aren't well-versed in protecting yourself) Also you'll need an exception in defender for the actual executable in your game folder and maybe even the DLL Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Much respect to you Gnome, for putting in the time and effort to create such a great QoL tool for the game. I was already really loving being able to play the game again, but also being able to experience it this new way, the Clementine way, and this just enhances that experience.
